Fast Forward 2060 is a free, public pop-up exhibit and event on December 7, 2016 in Washington, DC that highlights Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) progress under President Obama and beyond.

AAPIs are the fastest growing racial group in the U.S. They are more than 20 million strong and expected to double to over 50 million by 2060.

Join us for an afternoon of interactive exhibits, speaker sessions, and opportunities to engage digitally and in-person.

Who can attend?

The event is open to the public. Please be sure to register online. On-site registration may be available but is not guaranteed due to capacity. Attendees will come from across the country and include senior federal officials, industry leaders, academics and students, community leaders and advocates, distinguished AAPI artists, and other partners and allies working to address issues affecting AAPI communities.


Is financial assistance or lodging available?

We are unable to offer financial assistance or lodging accommodations for this event. If you seek lodging accommodations near the event, please look into DC metropolitan area options.


How do i get to the event?

AIA|DC (at Impact Hub DC) is located at 421 7th St. NW, Washington DC 2004. The venue is accessible via public transportation. The closest metro station is Gallery Place – Chinatown on the green, yellow, and red lines. It is walkable to stops on many bus routes. Street parking is available.


Will food be provided?

Meals are NOT provided. Samples and tastings will be shared by food exhibitors as long as supplies last. For meals, we encourage you to explore DC Chinatown/Gallery Place/Penn Quarter area and the variety of food options available.


What is the dress code?

The dress code for Fast Forward 2060 is casual/business casual.


Is the event open to press?

Yes, the event is open to the press. If you wish to attend in your press role, please register online through General Admission and select “Press” as your registration option.
